Yakun is a unique Singaporean place to grab an economical breakfast. This historical breakfast chain started from a single coffee stall in Singapore and has spread across Asia since. I was excited to try some of their kaya menu items, since kaya (a coconut based paste) originated from Singapore. We ordered some original kaya butter toast and some stuffed kaya egg pieces. Both were delicious! the kaya butter toast was grilled on a charcoal grill, and the butter slice goes along SO well with it (except that it has a million calories and is artery clogging… oh well). The server also flattened the bread so that it was crispy, and cut off all of the crust. Yummy yum with a cup of their legit milk tea. I would definitely recommend to anyone who drops by Singapore to not miss out on this local delight!

Brotaufstrich aus Eiern, Kokosnuss Milch, Zucker und Pandan.
Für diesen Brotaufstrich lasse ich jede Nutella stehen.
Im 290g Glas als Mitbringsel sehr zu empfehlen.
