YOLO is a great lunch option that I grab on the go to take back to work after the gym. I stick to the Shape Up menu items as it’s perfect for my low carb diet. I’ve tried most of the items under this category and have been very pleased so far. The cost is reasonable, a bit on the pricey side, but for the quality of food served I am willing to pay a bit extra to get what I need for my diet. It keeps my life coach happy too! I will definitely keep YOLO as a regular lunch option. Try the lite bite menu items too. The cashew & kale dip with veggies sticks is a winner for me.

This place is a little breath of fresh air. It’s got great options(that are also super healthy) like their chicken quesadillas. They were cheesy, tasty, and flavorful. They came with some chips(and salad) which could have been better. Seems like they didn’t try with that. However, considering there aren’t that many healthy options here… I think they’re headed in the right direction!

I wouldnt say that food here tends to be the most health conscious but over the years its gotten better. There was a brief period I saw the kopitiam in NUH show the calories on a few of the«healthier» items but then they took them off because no one was probably reading it anyways. YOLO is a really great concept. They focus on healthy ingredients and healthy eating. Eating with keeping in mind what youre putting into your body. Keeping track of the protein, glycemic index, etc. Its really one of the only places Ive seen with this in mind. The food is relatively cheap and pretty good. Its fast, well organized and the staff are very nice and friendly. Some of the dishes arent AMAZING or anything but most the food is tasty and satisfying. A good place for a quick healthy meal. Its a regular stop for me after hitting the gym. Definitely recommend it.

Couldn’t resist and went back to try Yolo for a second time. This time, I ordered the beef steak nam jim. It reminded me a bit of Chipotle’s steak bowls, but better. The twist of Asian flavors brought me down memory lane to my family back in SF.(I think many Chinese families serve rice with steak?). Even though the presentation didn’t look as appealing as the salmon quinoa burger, the flavors were on point. Thank you to the staff for recognizing my return and treating me and my colleague to Super Nova juice. I was gratefully shocked! Please excuse my awkward shy reaction. :) Yolo well deserves 5 stars for their quality ingredients, flavor combinations, and customer service!
