Airport Cab Stockholm

Upon arrival in Stockholm we had 5 rows of drivers to choose from in the cab ranks… and we chose «Airport Cab» of Stockholm. Other then the fact the cabbie got my attention by calling out a LOWER price the the guy whom we were about to go with — it was a good drive in at a reasonable price. The DOWNSIDE which causes me to ding their star rating is that 1) the cabbie took u to the wrong address at first — not a problem as we were paying a FLAT rate to transit … but 2^nd) is that in the moments after pulling out of the airport cab rank lines he pulled over to ask where it as we were heading… and in the moments where I was telling him where we were going he rolled forward and HIT another car parked ahead of us!!! Amazing!!! He got out — and essentially told the lady ahead of us — the victim — that there was zero or minimal harm to her car (not entirely true — I could SEE the minor damage to her bumper) and he got in and just drove off while she was on the phone with someone? I think she was still trying to figure out what was happening and would later find that the minimal damage to her car was potentially fairly expensive to fix professionally. Of course — I could have pushed her bumper together with probably no expense — and «damage» to her bumper finish could easily come without fanfare from normal parking. Except for the fact it was caused by our «hit and run» driver. That did not really sit well with us but we’re not responsible — our driver was. I might add his windshield was cracked — possibly from another auto accident… which we suspected might be the case. One of my pictures shows the victim through the windshield talking to him (the driver) who is out of view. Sigh… I have a few photos to share — uneventful proof only of having employed him — not proof or his involvement in any accident. Sigh — he’s lucky to get 2 stars given his absence of good character.
