Really nice selection of homemade food and sweets. What brings the score down is the uncleanliness of the place. A lot of child families come here and it definitely shows. The environment is kind of like when you go home spontaneously for a fika at a friend’s house and they have both kids sick at home from kindergarten. That kind of uncleanliness. Also, the servers don’t remove all the plates and other leftovers that frequently so. It doesn’t help. And it being CDs and vinyls available for sale? Forget it being a unique «experience» that they added this to a café. The CDs are randomly placed and it looks odd and obstructs your way around. I heard from the cue to the cashier that «this placed is so hyped and I can see why!» … Yeah if you’re a hipster and you want your kids to have friends that have hipster parents, that’s probably true.

Perfectly OK place to have a glass of beer under the sun in the bustling Lilla Torg. Perhaps kinda touristy, but where else you go in this small town?
The shop itself is interesting since you can buy records and get cakes, coffee and beer at the same time. I guess we’ve moved past doing laundry and have brunch stage.

This is a very nice café with super cosy atmosphere and great music. They have good coffee and delicious sandwiches.

I cannot really make an accurate review of this place since I just went in to look at the CD selection.
It seems to be more folk than rock — depending on what you call rock. I didn’t go upstairs, they might have more modern rock there, I don’t know.
Downstairs it was folk music, country and rock from the 50’s.
Part of the shop is a coffee shop that seemed to be popular. Not crowded though.

Zentral in der Malmöer Innenstadt, lädt das Folk å Rock zum entspannten Verweilen & Kaffeetrinken ein.
Die angebotenen Speisen reichen von vielen verschiedenen Kuchen– & Gebäckarten bis hin zu Bagels und ich glaube auch Wraps. Ich probierte den Schokokuchen ein Traum aus Schokolade: DD
Wir konnten sogar die kostenlose Jam Session belauschen und im nachhein in der oberen Etage durch Musikalben aller Arten stöbern.

Eine wirklich tolle Mischung aus Café und Plattenladen. Hier gibt es von allem etwas. Poster, CD, Vinyl, DVD Ein Besuch dort lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Für Musikinteressierte gibt es in Malmö nur wenige Möglichkeiten, von denen Folk å Rock am Lilla Torg mit Sicherheit die Interessanteste ist. Die Preise sind für schwedische Verhältnisse moderat, die Auswahl groß — besonders die eigene Ecke für Jazz hat ihren Charme. Überall finden sich CD-​Player zum Probehören, dazu wird eine große Auswahl an Videos, DVDs und Fachzeitschriften geboten.
Weiteres Highlight: Das inkludierte Café im Erdgeschoss, das gute Musik und guten Café perfekt miteinander kombiniert. Verwunderlich ist einzig, warum die in Schweden eigentlich angesagte Hard’n’Heavy-Musik in einen relativ kleinen Bereich gedrängt wurde.
