Barista

Barista is located in the mall right next to the subway, which makes it the perfect place for all of the office workers who haven’t had their daily dose of caffeine yet. I had the latte made with oat milk which tasted beyond my expectations, really good! The barista was genuinely nice to everybody in the long queue, which was really refreshing to see on a Monday morning.

Coffee chain Barista have opened up in Kista Mall. It has a great location next to Pressbyrån by the subway station so a lot of people passing by. The place is fairly cozy to be in a mall and it is seldom crowded.
Selection of food is your standard café food and as it is Barista they have a fair trade focus so that is of course nice. Quality of coffee is decent but as always at Barista there is a big risk that they use old coffee for the filter coffee. Still the filter coffee is fairly good, roasted by Johan&Nyström so not your regular low quality beans roasted beyond recognition.
Service has been a bit confused and slow but still friendly so think it may be that they opened recently that has an effect on the speed of service. It is not my number one choice in Kista but I do hold them as a strong 2^nd behind Espresso house.
