I do love the concept of Barista but this particular store is not the best one. There are always so many people rushing by that I can’t ever imagine when it can be calming to sit down inside their coffee shop and just enjoy any type of beverage. This is especially true during rush hour when a lot of people are waiting for their take away beverage. Another thing that I dislike with Barista is the fact that I need to add 5 extra kronor to pay for lactose free milk or soymilk. And as a vegetarian or lactose intolerant person in Stockholm this rarely happens anymore.

The service continues to underwhelm. The staff continues to be more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. I like their coffee though(prefer it to many others in the area), and if it can help others if drinking there then I can consider continuing. Their frequent-customer/loyalty program is a ok but requires certain amounts 100 kr steps, and 200 kr to benefit. The staff don’t know about offers the company has via other apps/services. But their company answers tweets fast so a partial bonus point for social-media awareness.

Extremely slow service, staff are more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. Coffee is fair-trade which is of course a good selling point but would still avoid the place since the coffee they use was 3 – 9 months old(different dates on the bags and they could not answer what they currently was using). If the same lack of care is taken in the rest of the business it is just awful. Interestingly they advertise that they use only coffee that is freshly roasted every week but that is a blatant lie(which they admitted) so just hope that they are doing a better and more honest job on the fair-trade part of the promises.
