Probably one of the worst places I’ve been in the city. Looks busy and trendy, but when getting your dish be ready for disappointment. Poor little salmon avocado salad with no dressing, no bread, charged 80sek. Would have expected better from a place that pretends to be hipster and so on.

tl;dr — Pretty nice place in the fairly new Hornstull mall but the coffee is annoyingly expensive I’ll lead with the negative. The coffees here are made with a machine that grinds the beans, sure, but the staff need to push a button on a touch screen display. A cappucino will run you 37SEK(!!!) — take away. Marinate on that for a second… The venue is pretty nice though, in the Hornstull mall but on street level so outdoor seating is available for warmer days and the interior design is pretty nice. They have some other drinks and food as well. Couple of interesting beers and I’ve had breakfast once which was totally ok. The service is good with friendly staff. Nothing exceptional though. In sum it’s a totally ok place but I feel that it kind of lacks ambition producing a sense of mediocrity. & of course that overpriced coffee.

I really struggle reviewing Klang market since it is both good and bad at the same time so while I think some of the issues they have are not at all acceptable I do still find myself coming back(so I guess I still find it good enough). It is located at Hornstull(by the new mall and next to Hornhuset) and it sort of fits in with the new Hornstull. It is a place that serves breakfast as well as later on some more full dishes and salads. There is no proper kitchen so there is not really food cooked it is more cold dishes and some meat they heat and put on the salads and sandwiches. It has a nice outdoor seating area as well as nice and relaxed(and which has been appreciated lately air conditioned) indoor seating area. All orders are placed at the counter indoors so in that sense more of a café feel to it than a restaurant. I have tried several of the food options(several different salads, some pastries, bagels, sandwiches) and all of them have been really tasty. It is not the place for a full dinner(seeing that they also close at 8) but breakfast, snack, lunch or an early evening light dinner would be fine. The favorite so far is the Vietnamese salad with pork. Great flavor and a fresh feel to it. The selection of beverages is also very good, they do 5 beers on tap(smaller breweries) and a few by the bottle. The selection so far has been very interesting and some things I have not seen in that many other places. Excellent non-alcoholic options(different types of lemonade, juices as well as the excellent Nanny State beer) as well as good ciders and then of course an interesting wine selection. It is not the biggest selection of beverages but so far I have not had any bad beverages at all here. The coffee is the best around Hornstull(that is of course not that difficult but it is fairly decent, beans from Johan & Nyström and the machine seems to make decent coffee made on order) and the teas are also pretty decent. So now you are wondering what the bad things are and those are mainly service related. The staff are all very friendly but there is a clear tendency for things to always somehow go wrong(they will surprise you with something new every time though). First time I stopped by I had checked the opening hours on the web site and was there around 15 minutes after they should open — they were then still closed so not really ok(asked them about it when stopping by later the same day and they just said that they were there at 8 but may have forgotten to open on time). Next time I had an incident with forgotten food(they served others well before us despite them arriving a lot later) — we received an apology and an offer of free coffee so they solved it nicely. Third issue(another time) was wrong beverage provided — I had it as take away so was already on the tube when I noticed so did not have the energy to go back. Fourth issue was hair in the food — again they apologized and fixed up something new. Fifth issue was the coffee maker not being properly set — also fixed after pointing out that the coffee was off. All in all they solve the issue when pointed out but I have some(granted some of these smaller) issue every time so hopefully they can get the service in order and then it will be very good. Do by the way note that they do not accept cash at all — only payment by card(and they do not accept AmEx).
