The question when staying in Bern, where should I stay at the Bellevue Palace or the Schweizerhoff?
Bellevue: great view. Large and beautiful lobby/atrium. The terrace overlooking the river is breath taking. The service throughout the hotel is Swiss at its finest. A classical European hotel that is very rare in the abstract world we live in.
Schweizerhoff. Location convenience across from train station and shopping arcade. Spa to die for.

The rooms are decent but the views are magnificent. The staff is incredibly nice and the service is just phenomenal.

Two days in a row for dinner and it was excellent! Truly a feast for the pallets as they give you many variations even for traditional dishes and also has unique tastes such as «blue brain» cheese and even has great Italian coffee … Correctto espresso … try it!
