Hostel Krone Zürich

We spent a night in this hotel which is in the hearth of the touristic Zurich. But we never had to sleep in such a dirty place in Switzerland. First we asked for a smoke-​free room. As a result, they gave us a stinking room and we found burned cigarettes in the trash can. The first room was really disgusting, the carpet in particular gave the impression someone had bleeded to death a couple of nights ago. We complained and they gave us the choice between 3 others rooms. Two of them where dirty and stinky rooms. We settled for the one with the less smell, but which a huge vomit stain in the corner.
Zurich is an expensive city and it is difficult to find a cheap hotel room. But even if you’re not waiting for luxery for the cheapest price, you’re not settling for a meth-​head transit hotel. If you’re in Zurich, maybe spent an extra 20 for your room and avoid at any costs the Krone hotel.
