Delicious Turkish food, but the real delight here was the service. I watched them treat each guest as if they were personal friends. For the lone American woman, a special treat in the form of bread that said «USA» and a delicious dessert made of melon. Yummy!!!

This place is near the Hilton at Tunali Hilmi, and pretty easy to find with a grand, cheesy old-school entrance.
It has a pretty grand setup wit multi-level, and was thinking, ‘Oh shit… big bill!’.
But to my suprise, the food that I ordered, to go was only 34 TL, and was as usual fresh veggies, with tasty, and melt in your mouth chicken and lamb. Simple, uncomplicated flavours, down t earth taste, and overall a wonderful experience.
While I was waiting for my food, the waiter even brought me tea…(which I couldn’t drink).
Definitely among the top places I’ve eaten in Ankara.

Not bad at all, standard, casual Turkish food (kebabs etc.). Good service. A bit out of the way near the Spanish embassy. Many more places serving the same type of food. All in all, neither recommended nor not recommended.
