Got great company? Bring them to Pancar to enjoy some Raki and mezze. Great place and food, for a good time.

09÷26÷15: After I wrote the review below I have been going to Pancar regularly. The last three times I have been there, I noticed that the mezes and the liver dish no longer tasted good, most of the staff has changed, and thus the service was no longer good either. I don’t know what happened but now the place has deteriorated into a mediocre (at best!) meze place. I have many very fond memories of Pancar but I don’t think I am ever going back.
Previous review: Pancar is a very cute restaurant with great mezes and very friendly service. I went there with my partner and a friend, and everyone was pleased with the quality of the food and the service. We had four cold mezes and all of them were great. We then had two hot appetizers that our waiter recommended. The shrimp dish was very tasty and the liver dish was phenomenal! As a dessert, we shared their beet dessert with thick cream. I liked it but it wasn’t exactly mind-​blowing. I think I’ll try the other dessert options next time I am back. Highly recommended!
