Tutzinger See

One of the few things that make Munich a great place to live is of course the beauty in the outskirts. One fine gorgeous day, with weather God smiling at its best, we decided to visit one of the fine lakes. and that’s how we discovered this beautiful lake /​see, whatever you call. its said one of the biggest around the city and boy it was heavenly beautiful. after a 40 min ride from the city center we parked ourselves close to the lake. Took a stroll and reached the spot. our eyes were simmering with glee and utmost satisfaction. What beauty the lake unraveled. It had a calming effect to an extent that we felt never to leave this place. Plush blue skies and with its reflection in cold water was soothing at its best. We weren’t alone, and all the locals and visitors like us thronged this place. the water I am being told is quite deep but shallow in the bank which makes a great excuse to just take a dip. And many adventurous souls did quenched their heat taking a dip there. The place has many sailing schools and boats to hire, which is definitely a must do. it also has a nice little restaurant from where you take a beer or a lime soda and just enjoy the great view. It was quite big and much to explore, but we were so mesmerized by the view that we stuck at one place for hours and didn’t bothered to explore rest of the place. It was indeed heavenly.
Its because of such scenic beauty that makes me crave for summer year on year. Great place and before summer sets out his year, will visit once again… :)
