Cute neighborhood/local café with multiple freshly baked cakes. Menu is not extensive but all is made to order and tastes yum. They have A couple of tables outside to enjoy the sun ! Nothing fancy here, but fresh food prepared with love and AT A Great Price Î say yes!

Amazing! We had the shroomaloomi burger and the peri peri chicken burger, both were outstanding. So were the chips and aioli they came with. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and top notch food, can’t go wrong

I love the friendly staff and amazing coffee and food at this small café in Chippendale — it really is a hidden treasure — the meals are very reasonably priced and just about everything is home made — Leander the chef/owner makes her own fabulous muffins every morning and the smell is irresistible! I love the Spanish/South American influence in some of the menu items, particularly love the empanadas — all freshly made from scratch on the premises. The staff never fail to amuse with their brightly coloured hair and excellent smiley service. I’m scared to recommend because I don’t want to have to queue for a table but I simply had to share.

On the corner of Meagher & Balfour Streets, a hop & a skip from The White Rabbit Gallery, I found this tiny café. It is also opposite the Harrington Street Gallery. Thought I’d awaken my inner Culture Vulture today. A quick browse of the menu & the Baked Fruit Bruschetta grabbed my eye. Poached pear, banana & berries oven baked on sourdough, ricotta, dukkha butter & maple syrup. Mmmmm, I’m there. I sat outside to watch the passing parade. A bit quiet early on a Saturday morning but I’m sure as the night creatures awake this area gets more lively. Then my breakfast arrived. It literally took my breath away. It was its own divine work of art! The fruit was placed on the bruschetta with both love & precision. The colour. The flavours. The crunch. Amazing! And, as I drizzled the maple syrup over the creation, berry juices swirled down onto the plate to make a wonderful pool of sweetness and decadence. Oh baby. .. every bite was heaven. Yes, I’m one very, very happy Unilocaler!!!

I must admit that I’m torn as I write this. I’m a huge fan of Pisco Sour and want the café to receive its proper recognition — but I’m worried about being able to grab a table in the cozy(limited) dining area. In the end, I find myself writing this because the food is just too good not to share! Ever since discovering Pisco Sour a few weeks ago, this little café has quickly become our favorite lunch spot in the Inner West. Literally everything we have tried has not only been good, but impressively so.(And we’ve been back about 2x every week!) I’m absolutely in love with the torrija — a type of french toast. Leanda blends the perfect about of sweetness with the heat of the cinnamon, tartness of mildly dressed strawberries, and creamy ricotta cheese. Even though I try to order something different every time, I find myself always coming back to the torrija! My fiancé has had the Atlantic salmon three times and without fail it is perfectly done: crispy on the outside, a little soft on the inside and with just the right amount of seasoning. Divine. Recently, he also tried the pulled pork daily special and it was, without a doubt, one of the best things we’ve had here. The grilled chicken quinoa salad isn’t as decadently succulent as the other things we’ve had, but a great option for a light, pre-gym lunch or when you’re calorie counting. The icing on the cake is that the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality of food. Very friendly, bright-haired staff and as always quality coffee.
