This is the first time I ever had such great-fancish food at a mall and didn’t feel uncomfortable about it. Didi Maier was there cooking in the kitchen(I think I was too much in awe and didn’t take a photo… ouch)…you might not know him but he is an Austrian trendy chef. I had to look him up later and here’s what I found: «In 2009 he was presented with the ‘Newcomer Award’ honouring him as the best new young chef in Austria.» He was also a head-chef at a 2 Michelin-Star restaurant. It’s nice to have such an accessible place, where you can try such great dishes. I loved it! Worth checking it out after you’re done with your shopping.

This place is relatively new, it’s inside Europark on the second floor. The interior is very modern and stylish but it’s still very down-to-earth and welcoming. Their menu is most suitable for a quick lunch during a shopping break but today I went there to grab some breakfast. There are only 2 breakfast options a smaller(11,80 €) and a bigger one(26 €). I went for the smaller one. Firstly you can choose between coffee, hot chocolate or tea and since they mix their teas themselves I tried one of those, which was good. Secondly your breakfast includes a freshly squeezed juice, which was really tasty, you can choose between 4 different ones. Then you can either get an omlette or a muesli, the omlette will be prepared for you but for the muesli they set up a little buffet. There was yogurt, nuts, dried fruit and you could even grind your own cereal(oats, wheat, spelt). With both options omlette or muesli you could get bread(sweet and savoury), butter and jam also from a buffet. Tea was good, juice was great, I loved that you could grind your own cereal but I wish they had more toppings like fruit. The bread was fresh but I was a little disappointed by the jam which wasn’t of good quality. Our waitress was very friendly and quick. Definitely the best place for breakfast at Europark because it stands out from the crowd!
