Zwischen dem ganzen Massentourismus in der Stadt bietet dieses Lokal eine echte Wohlfühloase. Service, Ambiente und Küche sind sehr gut und ein echtes Experiment, mal in die gute Koreanische Küche zu tauchen. Gerne wieder!

An easy walk from the old town … and a terrific change from Austrian fare! No weinerschnitzel here! Food was very fresh and intensely flavored. Spring rolls were pan fried versus deep fried, with much more nuanced flavor. The seafood soup was spicy and fresh, as was the recommended pork dish. Our server couldn’t have been more friendly! Highly recomended, convenient and economical!

Food was lower than average Korean by San Francisco standards. But given that we were in Austria it was a welcome change. Service was poor.

Amazingly good Korean food for a restaurant based, of all places, in Salzburg, Austria. About a 15 – 20 min walk from the train station. Wife had soft tofu stew and I had bulgogi. Both were excellent. They even had Korean beer, Hite. Not typical of traditional Korean restaurants was the lack of banchan (little dishes of various dishes including kim chee). Price was a little high but for its quality, nice setting, and being one of the very few, if any, Korean restaurants in Salzburg it was worth it.

Second time visiting this place since my cravings for Korean food can only be satisfied here (literally the only Korean restaurant in town), super friendly staff and the place itself is quite spacious so you’ll always get a seat.
Selection of food is good, they offer fish, meat and vegetarian dishes and also kbbq which I find far too expensive for 28 € per person.
The only downside there is, is the price, prepare to pay around 15 bucks for one main course.

Completely unexpected, completely delighted!
After a week of schnitzels, goulash, dumplings and potato salads, I was dying for some Asian food.
We accidentally stumbled upon this place while walking from Mirabellplatz to the Old Town. We went in for dinner one night and it surpassed my expectations so much so that we went back for dinner the next night!
We ordered two naeng myuns (broth with cold noodles) with meat, but unfortunately they ran out of the meat so we got it with vegetables instead. Although we were slightly disappointed, the noodles were still good.
We also ordered the kimbap with avocado the first night. It surprised me that it was a kimbap but inside out. I am used to the rice and stuff inside, wrapped with the seaweed. But it was still good.
We ordered the spicy pork and seafood soup stew the second night, all of which were very tasty. The shigumchi (spinach) appetizer was slightly disappointing because it came in a warm broth, when it is usually a cold dish.
The only reason for the three stars rather than four is the service is unorganized and sloooooooow.

Pleasantly surprised to find this Korean restaurant in the middle of Salzburg. Although I was enjoying my fair share of schnitzel and sausages in Austria, it was nice to change it up and get some bulgogi and kimchi. Service was polite and the atmosphere is clean and modern. Made for a very nice evening, even though the place was surprisingly empty.

Das Hibiskus war urpsrünglich auf der Ignaz-​Harrer-​Straße und ist jetzt am Mirabellplatz. Hier bekommt man sehr gute koreanische Küche, wunderbare Vorspeisen (ich liebe Kimchi) und auch sehr ausgefallene Getränke (Ingwer-​Zimt-​Grüntee, der dickflüssig, fast wie eingekocht einfach traumhaft gut schmeckt)
Das Service ist freundlich und das Ambiente sehr gediegen.

This restaurant is also a lounge that sells alcohol or tea and coffee. We stopped here for a mid-​afternoon break and got a piece of delicious spice cake and tea. The owners were very nice and spoke some English. This is a large place with lots of comfortable tables and chairs. Order at the counter.
