Schön gelegen am Radetzkyplatz, bietet die Garage einen interessanten Mix an Speisen an, die von überall aus der Welt zu kommen scheinen.
Ich hätte super gern die peruanische Suppe von ihnen probiert, die leider schon aufgegessen war.
Das Interior gefällt mir sehr gut, was gibt es besseres als Ziegelwände und Holzmöbel?
Ganz begeistert war ich auch meine Lieblingsblume bei ihnen als Blumendeko zu sehen, man sieht selten die Blume Nigella, selbst in Blumenläden.
Interessant fand ich auch das Angebot an Getränken, Kofola (Slowakische Cola) habe ich bis jetzt nur in Bratislava gesehen.
Zum Essen hatte ich das Huhn ala Provence mit Honig und Lavendel und meine Begleitung hatte das Steak mit Chimichurri.
Der Lavendelgeschmack war mir leider viel zu stark, dafür war ich überrascht wie viel Huhn im Gegensatz zur Beilage ich auf meinem Teller hatte.
Das Steak meiner Begleitung hat ganz gut geschmeckt (hätte etwas weniger Garzeit vertragen) und das Chimichurri hat gut dazugepasst, die Kombi sollte einfach viel öfter angeboten werden.
Man kann hier einen netten Abend verbringen, besonders wenn man Plätze im Gastgarten ergattern kann. Manchmal stört es dann aber doch wenn ober einem die S-​Bahn vorbeirattert.

First time someone suggested this place to me I was confused. Place called Garage, located under the tracks near Radetzkyplatz. Sounded like someone got it confused with a place near the Gürtel. Whoever came up with this place definitely hit the nail spot on!
The atmosphere inside has a very trendy, alternative and unique air to it. Has an artsy air to it. Also everything seems to be all in one big room: kitchen, tables, etc. Everyone that has been here always points out the friendliness of the staff. Usually this place is packed and busy, so you might need to wait a bit for a table. If its a weekend evening, wouldnt hurt to call and make a reservation. If you are 2 or 3, you can wait around for a table to clear up. Staff will help you out on that…
The kitchen has a fusion twist to it. They try to add a foreign touch to already creative meals. They offer their usual choices but also have new meal offers on a weekly basis. Their kitchen is definitely experimental and till now have not failed anyone that I know of…

In einem S-​Bahnbogen eingepasste Tapasbar, die auch kleine Gerichte auf den Tisch bringt. Superengagiertes Team. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Leider schon um Mitternacbt Sperrstunde.
