Came here twice during my trip to Rio. With the exchange rate between 3.6 and 3.8 reals for one american dollar, prices were excellent. Service was pretty good which is not something I found very easily in this town. Drinks came out quick, dinner came out soon thereafter. Everything tasted great. Our waiter kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. First night here was a quiet night while my second visit was in a packed house. Ambience is cool and casual — TV is on playing UFC and the music is blasting.

Well I have to say I wasn’t expecting much for this bar/nightclub/restaurant. It was surprisingly reasonably priced for their executive menus, it would be ridiculous not to try them. You could choose grilled chicken two sides and a sauce for R$ 20 and get a dessert. The other options included pastas with meat and sauce. We tried the chicken and the bolognese sauce on spaghetti that was fairly decent especially for the price. The option side Service was fair and more attentive that other bars. The bathroom was upstairs and quite disgusting. For a late night bar it was ok but for a restaurant during the day it was gross. It smelled and the motion sensor light kept clicking off. Also if you don’t like loud obnoxious daytime TV shows, sit outside where you can get away from the yappy TVs For a cheap executive lunch, this is the place to go.

Came back for round 2! More drinks and this time we ordered munchies. We ordered the potato, leek, kale, creamy sausage soup — it was tasty. The boys also ordered the sweet & sour BBQ ribs that came out on a hot sizzling platter. They finished them all so it must have been good too. Cute place to people watch. The EDM music can kinda get annoying when you are just trying to relax and not get turnt up. Overall still a nice spot to grab some good drinks.

The food was delicious and plentiful, served after a short wait by an attentive and friendly waiter(a pleasant surprise in go-slow Rio). It wasn’t very busy, so it would be interesting to see how the service copes on a more popular night. The ambience was good, not great, only due to the poor choice of music and 5 huge TV screens showing football. It was good value for money — I couldn’t even finish my enormous hamburger despite being hungry. Good place for people-watching from the outdoor terrace area. Extensive menu for drinks and food including loads of cocktails. We shall return!

How does this place have so many stars? Utterly ridiculous. The wait staff here is the worst I’ve had… in the world. I’ve eaten at truck stops in rural pakistan that had better service here. We asked for a table and they told us none would be available for over 45 minutes despite the fact that an English duo had just paid their check next to us. The English blokes then tapped us on the shoulder and said hey just take our table we are getting up now. We sat down and had to stare at their leftover food and dishes for over 10 minutes before getting fed up and asking the waiter to pick up the plates which they looked at us in surprise for. We then waited another 25 minutes before asking them for menus… waited another 10 minutes before getting up to ask them to take our order. Ridiculous at this point. Took them 15 minutes to get us our beers… what??? We ordered 2 chicken salads and waited for over an hour. An hour. Nothing came… we walked up to the guys and asked how long food would be. They gave us a look of confusion which told us they had never put the order into the kitchen. One guy ran upstairs and ran down with literally a bowl of lettuce and pieces of chicken that were cold(despite the menu saying«grilled chicken») and some dressing on top aka trying to salvage something. We then told them we had ordered TWOSALADS! At this point we said fuck it, split the one salad and asked for the bill. This was ludicrous and the hilarious part was an American duo behind us had the same experience with their food and drinks and instead just left cash for their drinks and walked out in disbelief. Unreal. Un… REAL.
