Went in the evening time around 10pm on a Sunday, got me a plate of grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. They have live music going in the outside patio which was nice. Food was good but the vibe was kind of weird there. All these young girls start lining up by the walls, and of course soon they start getting picked up by different men which was creepy. Of course if we would have known this is a prostitute hot spot! Would not recommend if you’re looking for your nice evening with family or friends. I’m sure there’s plenty of other night spots close by unless you’re the single guy looking for that.

Mab’s is in a prime location right across the street from Copacabana Beach. It is the perfect spot to wind down for the evening with live music and great sangria on the outdoor patio. The food was also good. Overall a great place to sit back and watch the world go by.

So I get that this place isn’t renowned for it’s breakfast’s although they do have a breakfast menu so they can’t dodge all the blame. I was early for a meeting so thought I would drop in for Breakfast. Ordered a cappuccino and Pao na Chapa and that’s where it all went wrong. Pao na chapa was decent(It’s toast for god’s sake) but the coffee was putrid. A cappuccino should be 1⁄3 coffee, 1⁄3 Milk and 1⁄3 bubbly froth. This was coffee mixed with Cocoa powder and cinnamon powder with two lumps of artificial cream on it. Swapped for an espresso(that wasn’t an espresso) just coffee in a small cup and made do. They charged me R$ 15.00! Gringo Price or what? Smell of urine a bit too. Dump that rips off foreigners– Stay away
