First time trying this Japanese/Chinese place which is located near my house(shame… shame… shame). From the outside, doesn’t seen much. it’s almost hidden! Getting inside, you find a nice decoration, not with so many details, but cute and with a fish tank ^^ The menu is extensive! Many many options, from Japanese cuisine mostly, but two pages of Chinese food as well. Besides the usual traditional plates, they have some house-specialties. Ok, now for the good part: LOVE at first bite! Great food! We’ve ordered some spring rolls as starters, which were very good. And a nice surprise: they gave us a small portion of Salmon with Ponzu sauce as a courtesy… I don’t remember all the ingredients, but it was a Soy-based sauce, outstanding, by the way… many extra points for that treat!(well… maybe they gave us that because the place was empty — we went lunch at 11h30am, very early for a weekend in Rio) I’ve tried a house-specialty called Salmon Ring, which was Salmon slightly roasted, with teriaky sauce and with fried ginger. Those, btw, were AMAZING! Never tried fried sticks of ginger, but they are awesome… the plate was incredible and many other house-specialty were looking good… must come back to try more of their large menu! The hot rolls were very good, also. A minor downside: price higher than the average.
