Perfect way to end our week in Rio! We had the Loma and Fish, which were both superb. Sauces were wonderfully flavorful, portions were perfect for an evening meal, device was attentive but unobtrusive. Décor is stylish and rustic in a modern way. No, it is not named after infamous rapper, Tupac Shakur. Forgot to mention the really cool lime butter served in a lime wedge rind! Nice touch.

Nice place, cosy decorations. Food is good, service as well. One of the better finds in Ipanema.

What a killer! This Peruvian restaurant is phenomenal. The service was great, the food was delicious and the ambient was very cool. We ordered the salmon with passion fruit sauce and the portend sandwich. Both wonderful!

Had a great experience at Tupac. Definitely not for people dining on a budget, but if you have some money to spend — check it out! The meal started off with some homemade bread and accompaniments, including some delicious butter served in a lime rind, with some hints of lime flavor in the butter itself. The rest of the meal progressed with similar creativity and delicious taste. My favorite dish was a salmon ceviche Ina alas soon fruit base. At first I thought it was a weird combination but the more I ate, the more I loved it. We were so full that we didn’t order dessert. However after asking the general maitre lots of questions about the ingredients and recipes that made the dishes so unique, he brought us two small shots of suspiro de limena(dessert). Not only was it a nice gesture but the dessert was tremendous. I don’t even really like cinnamon but the way that it was used in the dessert was out of this world. It was so light, yet had great flavor leaving us very satisfied. We didn’t even stop at the grocery store on the way home for our planned chocolate. Great experience. Nice art inside. Friendly service. Had an outdoor patio but we didn’t sit outside given it was pouring rain. Thanks Tupac!
