Fondé en 2008.

Sammy’s Bar and Grill has been in the Ancaster community for well over 20 years. In 2008 the Kaleci family took over and have continued to serve the quality food you can expect from Sammy’s Bar and Grill. Pop by for a visit and experience why the people of Ancaster love our food.

Stopped in to have lunch. They have advertised Homemade Burgers.
They had a special if Hamburger and poutine for $ 10.50.
So I ordered it.
Burger was good. Fresh tomato, lettuce and onion.
Fries were a regular frozen kind but not those disgusting coated kind ala Costco.
Gravy and curds on only half the fries.
The burger was great. Fresh cooked.
Poutine was ok.
Server was nice. I paid and the young guy on the counter was very nice. Cute too. Haha.
I would love to Come back and try breakfast.
I was there 1pm on a Saturday. Lots of open tables.

Breakfast is always served hot and very fast considering the quality. Eggs done as requested, home made home fries, toast and excellent pea meal bacon.
Busy on weekends but does not seem to affect service always friendly and coffee refilled regularly.
Best breakfast in town.

Love the all day breakfast but I had a giant burger loaded with melted cheese, fried onions, and about a half pound of meat with a large garden salad for $ 8.50. The coffee was very good and the place is very clean. I will be going back with the family.

A local spot where my dad, son and I like to grab breakfast on Saturday morning before launching our attack on home repairs and improvements. The service is good and there is always a table at 8:00 A.M. but as the morning wears on tables disappear quickly. The food is average but then again it is a family restaurant and it is breakfast. How much can you do with eggs for a couple of bucks? Really, nice to have a community restaurant that we can patronize and get some guy time before starting our day.
