Richard and the team at Shift are fantastic. They never try to screw you over or push unnecessary jobs on you. I feel comfortable calling Richard up when I have a quick question about whether something will fit, if it’s the right part… etc. I’ve recommended Shift to a friend who drives an Subaru STI and they had no problem working on his car, even though they specialize in German makes.

Awesome shop! I brought my car here after it was recommended by another enthusiast to get a very peculiar issue checked out. I like to be very hands-​on with my car and the staff let me pick their brains until I felt comfortable leaving it with them. They were friendly, knowledgeable and weren’t dismissive as auto staff tend to be. If I’m not mistaken, they specialize in German models but can work anything with ease. I drive an import and they knew exactly what they were doing with it. Shift is also the home shop of the Team VCMC FRS, which races all aroud the continent so you know they’re good!

These are the only guys i go too. They are so awesome i can’t even begin to explain. The amount of times i thought i was screwed or would have to spend boat loads on a stupid little repair on my Volkswagen, and had them fix it without charging me is unknown in an industry where i usually feel totally ripped off 99% of the time.
There focus is Volkswagens but my brother’s take their other vehicles their too. They will find you the best price and give you options as needed.
You can tell these guys are genuine. I drive from Vancouver to Burnaby to go to them.
I full heartedtly endorse these guys.
