If you’re looking for event supplies, Michaels will hook you up. Need to hook something up? Michaels has got you covered. Need to cover something? …Michaels probably has something for that too.
From painting supplies, to fake plants, to every kind of seasonal decoration, to those light up letters that are all the rage right now — I find it a little overwhelming actually. I don’t know the store well enough to know what I’m looking for when I’m there. If you’re anything like me (craft curious, but inexperienced) Your best bet is to go willing to poke around, get creative to see what you can come up with.

Don’t tell anyone, but I love Michaels. And the closer we get to our wedding, the more I suspect I will like Michaels. For the unknowing, Michaels is a crafts store on steroids. They are a cross between a crafts store, a Homesense, and a massive dollar store.
What I really like about Michaels is the variety of items. No matter what I’m looking for, chances are I can find it or something similar at Michaels. If you are preparing for a holiday of planning a wedding, Michaels should be high on your list of visits.
Little known secret, I’m a closet painter. So if I need supplies, Michaels is stop one. And now you know a secret!

I’m just not that girl. You know, that artsy, fartsy, super crafty girl. But IF I was you know where I would go to get all my crafting goods? Yup, you guessed it: Michaels.
Michaels is INSANE. I mean that in a good way. You walk in and you’re overwhelmed with art supplies. We’re talkin’ beads, fake flowers, canvases, paints, glues, fabrics, stationary, and the list goes on and on. Yes, I’d imagine this place would be a painter/drawer/craftperson’s heaven. I can’t imagine what they haven’t got in craft-goodness.
While it may not be MY cup of tea, I can appreciate their selection, their merchandise and their space.
It’s quite impressive and if I was just a smidgen craftier, I can guarantee I’d lose hours at a time in this place!
