The Mic Mac Tailor Shop is pretty darn swell in my books. From offering that elusive Euro hem for jeans that some local tailors just don’t, to turning around complicated requests lickety split for a minimal extra charge, I always feel completely confident dropping off the goods here so that they can turn them into greats. While the price and services offered are pretty standard fare for the tailoring industry, I find the attention to detail and willingness to do what’s best for your gear really impressive for a wee tailor shop in a mall.
As recently as this week which has been a bit messy with unexpected family commitments, they were able to fully tailor a suit with a one-​day turnaround so that I’d be ready to go in no time. Sure — it was an extra $ 20 for the express charge, but being able to have a brand new suit completely ready to go in a day was just one less thing for me to worry about.
They’ve moved a couple of times which got a bit confusing but they seem to be permanent once more on the bottom floor of the Mic Mac Mall near the Winners entrance. Cash or debit only.
