Description

Spécialités

We are a children’s indoor playground and café. The Play Box also caters for birthday parties. Our play gym is suitable for children up to 12 years of age and has a separate toddler section. There are two dedicated party rooms where we can host your party and include food boxes as part of the package. Our café offers a wide variety of snacks and food options. In addition, we offer a great selection of drinks, including coffee which is roasted locally by Nova Coffee. You can spend time in the café, with or without children, or grab your coffee and go!

Historique

Fondé en 2014.

The Play Box was established in May 2014. It was the dream of a British couple to emigrate to Canada and begin a business that would become part of the community. It was a long time in the planning and designing, as they wanted the environment to be fun for the children, but also a place for adults to relax and enjoy a coffee with their friends or just spend time as a family.

Lisa B.

Gérant de commerce

Born in Coventry, England, I moved to Canada in 2013. I have held a number of different jobs from designing closed circuit security systems, catering work, teaching drama and finally becoming an English teacher for 11 – 18 year olds.

My partner, Stewart, was a member of the armed forces, ran a factory, managed events at Wembley Stadium, had his own building firm and finally became a police officer. Since arriving in Canada, he has also become a volunteer fire fighter. He hails from Birmingham in England and is a huge football fan (although hockey is becoming his new passion!)

We have a six year old boy, who also keeps us busy and his ambition is to play hockey and own a zoo. We are all enjoying our new life and business in Nova Scotia.
