Choose varietal wines from around the world — all of which have much lower levels of additives than commercial wine, and which come to you largely free of tax. (And, if you live in Ontario, you know all about the high taxes and mark-​ups on wine at the LCBO.)

To benefit, you must start your wine, which means pitching yeast into the juice and bottle your wine using our organized space and equipment. Bloor West Winery looks after all the intermediate winemaking steps and backs our service with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Historique

Fondé en 2001.

In September 2001, Bloor West Winery launched as a «Wine Not» franchise in Toronto’s Bloor West Village. The business quickly established itself as the preferred winemaking facility in the area. Bloor West Winery consistently wins in the Annual Readers’ Choice Awards sponsored by the local newspapers.

The business convered from a franchise to independent and, in September 2007, purchased the assets of Wine Estates Inc., another on premise winemaking business in the neighbouring Kingsway district of Etobicoke.

The facility at 2869 Bloor Street West was re-​built and modernized and the two businesses merged into one at this location.

Today, Bloor West Winery is one of the larger on premise winemaking businesses in Toronto’s West End.
