Farmers’ Market

This farmers market is HUGE. Swarms of people aside, this was an excellent place to shop. Parking is super convenient here, and you can find everything here, from huge cinnamon rolls, endless fruit stands, Amish-​made maple syrup from nearby St. Jacobs, even a stand devoted specifically to hot sauces to blast your nipples off. I particularly liked the bottle modeled after the grim reaper, because why WOULDN’T you ingest something with the grim reaper on it?
Their food court is also worth noting, which has a very broad selection, but delicious all around. They even threw in a little kids play area, so they don’t irritate the parents after a while.
It’s way off the beaten path, but totally worth it if you find yourself in Kitchener/​Waterloo, or St. Jacobs.

Seit über 100 Jahren gibt es ein Mal wöchentlich diesen Bauernmarkt in Downtown Kitchener. Es werden vor allem frische Lebensmittel verkauft. Im oberen Stockwerk kann man sich von den Einkäufen erholen und in einem der vielen teils internationalen Restaurants Spezialitäten zu vernünftigen Preisen genießen. Der ideale Ausflug für eine Familie am Samstag Vormittag.
