Description

Spécialités

Michael’s cuisine samples from the best the world has to offer, while using local ingredients whenever possible. And nowhere else in London can you experience table-side cooking like this. Fantastic Caesar Salad, phenomenal Chateaubriand, and flaming cheesecake are but a few of the delicious meals prepared right before your eyes at Michael’s. Classic dishes such as French Onion Soup and Escargot are offered side by side with local Jackson’s Wharf Lake Erie Pickerel and Ontario Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, or select from one of their exceptional cuts of beef. Vegetarian, as well as gluten free options, are available upon request. Finish your meal with a specialty coffee and an offering from the daily Dessert Plate. No matter what you choose, rest assured that it will be a meal, and an experience, to remember.

Historique

Fondé en 1983.

Situated on the banks of the Thames River is the award winning Michael’s On The Thames Restaurant. Founded in 1983, Michael’s has long been a bastion of haute cuisine in London Ontario. What began as a classic fine dining establishment with white table cloths and black tie service has evolved into a self-described «Casual Fine Dining» destination. Many of the traditions and high standards long associated with fine dining still remain, but the atmosphere is friendlier, more relaxed, and less formal than in years gone by. Recent renovations and a constantly updated décor keep the dining room modern and vibrant, while still retaining a time honoured elegance.
