Very late review, but better late than never ;-). Came to Montréal in Sept 2015 for a little vacay time and dinned at a couple of Juliette locations. They’re a very convenient crêpe fix in the city, but this particular location was my favorite. I had the lemon meringue crêpe which was so yummy another time I had tried their strawberry cheesecake crêpe, so awesome! I recommend anyone visiting to try a crêpe at Juliette’s first.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Everything was comparable to Mindy’s hot chocolate in Chicago. Prices were reasonable and their plates were large enough to share. I really had no complaints. We ordered a fondue plate that was packed with waffle bites, brownies, marshmallows, strawberries, and bananas, accompanied with chocolate fondue of your choice(we chose white and milk chocolate). It was superb. Although the waitress warned us of the burnt waffle before putting down the plate(and offered to bring us a new waffle if the waffle was overdone.) It seemed kind of silly for me to even consider serving a burnt waffle in the first place if it was overcooked, so I took off one star. We also ordered the classic hot chocolate(milk chocolate). It was great! Even better than the one I had at Mindy’s! If you are a hot chocolate lover, this is definitely the place to be. Next, we shared a tiramisu as recommended by the waitress. Wow. It was probably one of the best choices we made all night, aside from choosing to go to Juliette. The cake was light, not overly sweet, and had just enough taste of coffee to keep you on your toes, wanting more of the cake. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would highly recommend coming here!

Every time I leave Juliette et Chocolat, I am carrying a baby belly! It’s so filling! It doesn’t matter if I order something small, something big, their desserts are filled with heavy, delicious chocolate. They are not shy with chocolate. This is always always busy. There is a small line up every evening I walk pass. It’s also opened quite late! It’s very big inside, easily and comfortably seats many GROUPS of people. Quick service. Chocolates are a must! Savoury crepes, not so much. They are yummy but too expensive! But the $ 15 fixe-prix deal for the winter is fantastic. The crepes are not amazing still(in my opinion) but the meal includes a dessert crêpe and a coffee. The chocolate drinks are melted chocolates, and are sooooooooooo filling even though so small. Don’t let this fool you! I myself recommend the tasting platters for the indecisive. I recommend the ice-cream for the«I’m not THAT into chocolates» people. Lastly, I would say CAKES for the sugar-lovers! And for chocolate fans, well, you don’t need any recommendation at all ;) Go free. UPDATE: I received a box for Christmas and the photos explain all *heart eyes* they are so beautiful and so delicious!!! 5 stars for the chocolatiers of Juliette et Chocolat!!! 4 stars for dining here! probably just 3 stars for the savoury crepes.
