This is our go-to place! I love the guy who works here, he is sweet & generous and makes DELICIOUS Donairs! I love that sometimes he has homemade baklava and/or samosas for sale too! He puts whatever toppings you like, and SUPER affordable prices! Took my older Russian mom here last weekend and we paid $ 11 for two lamb donairs, when we usually pay much more elsewhere. She was offended the prices were so low so left what she thought she should pay in the tip jar! Lol I adamantly prefer to support local small businesses in our great community, I hope this place is around for years to come!

This is a little confusing ’cause it’s two businesses under one umbrella yet they’re together? I saw this coffee shop the last time I was in the hood with the guy I am dating, however, due to time constraints couldn’t come here, therefore, came back a few days later. The coffee shop is okay. More space to sit down outside. I had a simple latte, nothing overly fancy. Beans were a bit acidic. Service was friendly. Prices were okay.

My boyfriend introduced me to the Donair portion of this shop. The first time we went I had chicken and it was alright. I tried the beef that my man got and OMG — so much flavour! We drive out of the way to go there cause it’s that delicious. All we have nearby is Extreme Pita. We only went there once — and we’ll never go back with Paradise just over 5 minutes away.

When I was a poor starving college student, my classmates and I would come to Paradise Donair for our study breaks. My favourite is the chicken and lamb. They have a special 2 small Donair 7.00 and it comes with a can pop, it use to be 6 dollars when I went to school and my friends and I would split. I was craving some type of sandwich or wrap today and i was in the area and remember this place. The Donair comes in a white pita, assorted veggies, meat of your choice,(chicken, beef, lamb, falafel, mixed) and sauces. I was a little disappointed with this visit, prices has gone up(which I was not surprised because its been several years and not by much) and the most disappointing part was they also made the fillings less, Less meat and less sauce equals not as good. I remember eating here back in the day and it was juicy, messy, filling and I was always happy. Mind you maybe my taste buds also grow up and now that I’m not a starving poor student anymore this place lots it’s glory. It was still nice to come back… Don’t know if I’ll come back.

This review is only for the Paradise Donair portion of the business. Both the coffee shop and donair place are owned together and the only seating is on the coffee shop side so if you want to sit you get your donair and sit over there. They have 4 sizes of donairs here ranging from Small at $ 4 and Ass-kicker at $ 7 dollars. Having a gallery across the street I stopped in here twice for large donairs at$ 6. They have three meat options chicken, beef and lamb. I am sure there was a veggie option but I did not look(a donair without meat is crazy!). I had the mixed beef and lamb and it was really good! A great mix of flavors with lots of veggies and sauces including hot sauce. The pitas are opened up and filled so they are quite big not wrapped like at some of the cheap places in Vancouver! If you are in the area do and like donairs this is probably a good place for you to stop!
