Terrible satay sauce with no flavour and a complete LIE about pricing online. Noodles were totally dry and had a weird flavour. Price for dinner for 4 online said $ 47; we got there and the price was all of a sudden $ 67!!! Their excuse was that that was an old menu and they’re not responsible for it. I call bull. It’s called tricking people with cheaper prices.

Wasn’t impressed. Won’t be back. We came from maple ridge as we are moving to Port Moody. We are frequent diners of west coast Asian and always get a lunch combo special. We tried it here and the food not only looked bland but tasted bland. We had beef with black bean sauce and cauliflower. The sauce was thick and tasted more like beef gravy. The white cauliflower with the white rice and brown gravy wasn’t appealing looking at all. A few red peppers would have brought the look of the dish to life but the taste wasn’t there. We also had the fried rice, chow main and s&s pork combo. The pork was bland as was the chow mien and the«fried rice» looked and tasted like just steamed rice with a few peas added. For $ 6.95 it wasn’t worth it. The only good thing I can say was the staff was cheerful and attentive. Sorry. When we move to Port Moody we’ll be looking for another place for Chinese.

Best hot and sour soup and sizzling Felix chow main I’ve ever had! We’ve been going here since I was10! Family owned restaurant, they treat you like your their only customer! Very great western style food(Asians typically don’t enjoy as its do westernized) with even better service! Perfect 5 stars!

I don’t why the rating in google is high, but it is not that good. Only have take-out once, «gan chao niu he» is unacceptable. Not that bad though, it is not Chinese Chinese restaurant, it is more like western Chinese restaurant.

This is a solid classic western Chinese restaurant. And the portions are monumental for the price. If you don’t experience effects from MSG then head on down and enjoy a tasty meal. Order the Combination Dinners — 1 small combo and one large combo for 20 dollars is enough for dinner for our family of three, plus a couple leftover lunches to boot.

I’ve been a long time fan of Hon’s but they’ve recently become less cheap and their food quality has started going down the drain decided to try this place out for a change lunch special is good– and cheap huge amounts of food for the price you pay food isn’t anything spectacular or particularly good tasting … but at least this is one of the rare places that knows how to make fried rice or chow mein without pouring half a bottle of oil if you need cheap, quick chinese fix I’d recommend this place

Good western style Chinese. Me and my wife like it because we’re not really into authentic Chinese. We order from here regularly and have always been very happy with our orders. Deliveries are always quick too.

Dirty little dive in a nice neighborhood, but the food is always good(as far as North American style Chinese food goes) very inexpensive and staff are always friendly and prompt. Very cheap weekday lunch specials.
