Historique

Fondé en 1991.

Cordova Bay Golf Course lies on a property with a rich history. Initially a family homestead called ‘The Turner Farm’, the property has also been the home to one of Victoria’s most famous (or infamous) characters: Bill Mattick. Over time Bill ran a vegetable farm, a daffodil farm a petting zoo and a market featuring the perennially popular train ride. Eventually the property was turned into a driving range and 9 hole par 3 course. Renovated from the bedrock up, Cordova Bay Golf Course opened in 1991 to rave reviews. In the years since then, she has won many accolades and hosted many prestigious events. The 2010 award of BC’s ‘Facility of the Year’ paid fine tribute to both the quality of the facility and her exceptional staff.
