Historique

Fondé en 2008.

A Walk Apart was a gradual stroll into the business world. We began by walking neighbourhood and friends’ dogs, and were slowly convinced that we should focus on it more and more as a full time occupation. Animals have always been in our lives, and this has been a very natural progression towards a business which focuses on what we already loved doing: dog walking and pet care.

I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. While growing up, I would bring home stray cats and kittens on a regular basis and then force my parents to let us keep them. So my house was a sort of pet hotel for the better part of my childhood.

The idea to establish a dog walking business initially came out of a desire to turn a part time hobby into something more substantial and also more fulfilling. So A Walk Apart is really only an extension of the long term friendship I’ve always had with the animals in my life.
