I’ve always been a huge fan of Bath & Body Works, especially the Sherway location because the staff are continuously so friendly and willing to help! I can always smell the store as I’m walking down the hall in Sherway Gardens. I popped in on Friday as they were having the ALOHAHAWAII event($ 5 for all Hawaiian products, including the body creams). I was thrilled to see the return of Waikiki Beach Coconut so I picked four body creams, one body spray and two hand soaps for under $ 25 as I had the«spend $ 30, get $ 10 off coupon». Amazing deal! Did I mention that Kernals is right next door?

Bath and Bodyworks is one of those stores that is in practically every major mall across the continent. They are everywhere and if the colors don’t shock your visual senses, the smell may but not as much as say Lush. I like the smell of many of the pump soft soap I’m not going to lie. The thing is this place always has you things like 3 for $ 12 or 5 for $ 20 or whatever the sale of the week or flavor of the month may be. This store makes you want to buy bulk. Recently they brought back my wife’s favorite scent(London Calling) but they renamed it London tea and something or other. So she goes to town buying the plug in scents and some of the candles because the fragrance was discontinued some time ago to the point she was resorting looking to find them on eBay in desperation. B&BW… please for the love of all things don’t get rid of London Calling or whatever it’s called now. The last thing I need is my wife to scour the continent paying top dollar for this scent if it’s discontinued again. Their coupons always have a way of enticing you to come back the following month to spend because they are always for weeks in advance. Thanks for making our wives addicted!

i am a huge fan of Bath and Body Works. I do like their products and always buy them! I have so many things from this store at my house, but that’s alright. Though i do have some concerns, it’s not exclusive to only this store at Sherway, but the whole company needs to stop discontinuing products, especially popular ones. I understand that they need to make room for new products or whatnot, but why discontinue popular products when you can discontinue unpopular ones? Also, this concern is relevant to this particular store, i feel like they don’t carry some of the products that other BBW stores have, somewhat disappointing, but that’s not the worst that can happen.

For a store that’s just focused on body products, it’s amazing how large the store is and how much inventory they carry. Everything from shower gel to creams to hand sanitizer to hand soap… it’s here and in one of the largest fragrance selection. It’s pretty darn easy to find the place as you will SMELLIT before you see it. Often it can be enticing and misleading… I thought I was finding a great bakery at first during my first visit here but nope. It was just the 5 Warm Vanilla Sugar candle they had in the store. Speaking of scents, for those who are scent sensitive, this would be your torture. The scents are very strong and they can assault your nose. Sometimes it’s bareable but usually they have 2 or 3 dominating scents in the store. I’m bias towards warm and spicy scents so their constant reinvention of the vanilla family is good for me. Warm vanilla sugar, vanilla and brown sugar, dreamy vanilla, vanilla woods, black raspberry vanilla, jasmine vanilla, lavendar vanilla… you get the idea. Aside from the flood of vanilla, you can find softer and floral scents as well. There’s something for everyone… even men! The products here are standard. I wouldn’t say they rival other body stores like Aveda or L’occitane but they are better than no name brands. The secret to this store is to never buy retail. Often they will have a deal where you buy 3 and get 3 or get $ 10 off of $ 30. So even though the prices seem high on the items, they’re really not because there is always a deal around the corner. This particular store is really big and because of that, you’re not crowded by other people. The items are well laid and it’s easy to find everything. The only problem would be the cashier. Even when I’m one of 4 people in the store, I still wait at the cashier. Most times someone is behind the counter and they’re ‘organizing’ something and they can’t ring me in. So I would say the floor service is VERY friendly… the guy manager or cashiers, not so much. You’d think you want to ring people in quickly and get the money before walk out frustrated at lack of service! Body Shop and Fruits & Passion are just 30 seconds away.
