Centauri Arts Academy is an arts & learning centre for young people who have a keen interest in the arts. We offer arts courses throughout the year in Theatre & Acting, Clown, Film making and Creative Writing. Many of the programs we offer — Film Production and Creative Writing, for example — are difficult to find elsewhere, while our Acting courses include the chance to take Trinity Guildhall performance examinations. Although we are located in West Toronto, students attend Centauri from Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Barrie and even further afield.

Historique

Fondé en 1994.

Centauri Arts began as a small sleep-​over summer camp 20 years ago, located in the Niagara Region of Ontario. Centauri Summer Arts Camp quickly grew into the large and flourishing arts community it is today — over 40 specialised arts programs are offered each summer for more than 500 children and teens, travelling from across Canada and more than a dozen different countries.

Opening its doors for the first time in October 2012, the Centauri Arts Academy has already expanded in its first year to the new stuido at Windermere and Bloor.
