Great park to bring the little ones to! I nanny a 1 and a half year old and a three year old and this park is great for both ages. It is securely fenced in so I don’t have to worry about one running into the street. Awesome sandbox as well. It’s a great place to bring them to get some of that energy out while feeling that they are safe!

I stopped by this little gem today. I live in Waterpark city condos so it was a nice short walk from my house. My son enjoyed playing with the fallen red leaves and I enjoyed the little oasis in the middle of what I felt was nowhere. The beauty of walking is you can STOP and see the beauties around you. Adored it a must visit especially if you live in the area.

I’m walking through or passing by Little Norway Park almost every day on my way to work. It’s a great little greenspace that I’m sure is unknown to most Torontonians. But for this neighbourhood it’s a great spot! The baseball diamond gets used at least a few evenings a week. It’s great to sit on one of the benches after work and relax and watch a game or watch people playing with their dogs. There is also a splash pad area for the kiddies just a little south of the main park area, beside the ferry to the island airport. Many, many an afternoon i’ve spent at the ferry terminal, working and envying the little kids playing in the water on a hot & sunny day. After lunch they have a few day camps that come and take over the place, if you want your kids to mingle, it’s a good time to come. They fill up the pond area with fresh water every time and drain it later in the day so it doesn’t attract birds(and bird poo!). Easy to get to on the Harbourfront Streetcar. Just get off at the Bathurst stop and it’s on the south-west corner of Bathurst and Queens Quay. Enjoy!
