Park Avenue Cleaners

This place literally charges nearly triple the price of the cleaners one block over. I brought in 5 shirts and a pair of pants and paid over $ 50. In top of that they destroyed the cuffs on one of my shirts.

I came here only because I live close by and not sure where else to go. I had 2 jeans I wanted hemmed, 1 pair of pants with ripped lining and 1 pair of pants I wanted dry cleaned. After being told that the alterations lady wasn’t there I went back a 2^nd time to drop off everything. When I went back a week later to pick it up, my jeans were pressed, but not hemmed, my pants were dry cleaned but not sewed.
The lady didn’t charge me for dry cleaning, and I was told to come back a few days later.
When I did, everything was done okay, except it was SO expensive. $ 50+ for all of that, when regular hemming should be less than $ 10 as is dry cleaning.
I’ve been to places that are cheaper than here. I’m sure we can find them.
