Having confidently gone to the Eaton centre to visit the Sony store, I was disoriented when I couldn’t find it after walking through all three stories. Had to sneak on the Sephora wifi to find the closest one, which is this location. They moved out of the Eaton centre because their rent tripled. c’est la vie. This location is much smaller than the one that used to reside in the Eaton centre, but it seems packed with almost just as much stuff. TVs, computers, cameras, and lenses… I came by to ask about my damaged lens and repair protocol. The staff were helpful and patient with my many questions. They did try to upsell me some stuff but it was part of some pretty attractive promotions and I’m sure a majority of people in my situation would have appreciated hearing about them. In the end, can’t complain. Accomplished what I came to do with no grief, so a solid three stars.

This store is located at the foot of the Sony Centre for performing arts. Maybe I haven’t been to a Sony owned store in a while but now they go by the name of «Sony» rather than the Sony Style Moniker they used to have. Store location is a bit puzzling as there aren’t any store of this sort nearby. Nevertheless it might prove to be success with all the development going on the harbour front. Setup is typical of other Sony stores and an enthusiast like me can spend quite a bit of time here. New shiny TV’s which are wall mounted nicely. A dedicated home theatre area, some PC’s etc. The Staff was very helpful and took their time answering my questions. Full marks here for service. There is enough variety here but is limited to Sony products understandably. 3.5 Stars.
