Cookies Of Course delivers freshly baked cookies to your home or office. We are now a web based business, after 29 years in the same location we were «renovicted» by our landlord with four months notice and two years on our lease left and replaced with a Seattle based corporate chain. As we already had a loyal customer base, we decided to forgo the bricks and mortar (and vagaries of landlords) and deliver directly to our customers. Instead of you coming to us, we now come to you. (Check out our Have Oven Will Travel baking service if you want hot out of the oven cookies!)
We also provide our cookie and muffin batter to independent coffee shops in the Vancouver area. Give us a call about that, or suggest us to your friendly local hang out. ;)
We are working toward bringing more local ingredients into our product line in order to support local farming and create awareness of the importance of local sustainability. Thanks for reading this!
Alan the Head Cookie
Historique
Fondé en 1984.
Established in 1984, Cookies Of Course was one of the first cookie stores in Vancouver. While other cookie stores came and went, Cookies Of Course remained in the same location until the Great Renoviction of 2013. We are now located in a very cool commissary with other independent foodies where knowledge sharing and cooperation abound. While customers can no longer come in for a cookie or coffee, we are making sure that you get the same great service by delivering to you from orders filled on our website.

Alan B.
Gérant de commerce
Alan the Head Cookie is a staunch supporter of small, local independent business. Over the years he has refused offers by interested parties to franchise Cookies Of Course, maintaining that life is too short for ubiquity, and the world is a more interesting place with independent businesses than the same old same old wherever you go.
Alan’s father was a Danish baker, and after completing a degree in Geography from SFU while working in a bakery, Alan kept to his roots and continued in the baking biz. (The geography degree means he can tell you about where the ingredients come from)
Born in Vancouver, Alan and his wife Susan (the organized one!) have moved back to Vancouver after raising their family on Bowen Island. They now live in a co-op in the Olympic Village and it is a three minute bike ride to the new commissary on Industrial Avenue. A much easier commute than relying on BC Ferries!
