Quality was okay but huuuge portions. Real bang for your buck. Friendly staff. Food is incredibly filling. If you’re looking for a cheap and welcoming/warm place to eat, check this place out.

I can’t think of a better place to eat breakfast. The food is very healthy, taste really good and its inexpensive. I usually get steak and eggs each morning and it fills me up until lunchtime. Also service is great and its easy to get along with everyone.

I was here for breakfast and asked about their greek pancake. Well I was told that it is just like other pancake on the menu but smaller and has brown sugar on it. So I got the super sub that has pan fried beef slices, salami, fried onion, cabbage, cheese, and tomatoe. It looked promising although the bun was a little soggy. However, it tasted so bland. The beef wasn’t really seasoned and not even salted and the salami was a bit sour. Towards the end, I dreamed of beef dip sauce and how nice it would be to dunk this sub on it or even add turkey gravy. At the end, I asked for HP sauce and found out they apparently had tons of beef sauce on squeeze bottles. I think she forgot to bring it with the steak sandwich! Anyway, it didn’t help much anyway.

Hearty, comfort food. Missed McDonald’s breakfast cut off time and needed a place to have pancakes close by. IHOP was too far. However this place came in mind. Sat down and it’s definitely a non-commercialized restaurant. Been here before but this time the service from the waitresses was so much more nice, so friendly. I normally tip 13% for good service but this time I think I did 20%. Had the pancakes and they were huge and fluffy! Eggs Benedict was also a great decision! Thumbs up! My family(Asian) enjoyed it! I’m coming back more often

This place was ok. When I walked in, I expected a typical mom and pop style restaurant, with cheap, greasy but amazingly tasty food. I was disappointed, their breakfast special for $ 4.99 only goes until noon, we had arrived at 12:30 so we missed out. The other special on the board for the day was the clubhouse, but when I compared it to the menu the price it was only .50 cents cheaper. Most items were pretty expensive for a run down place, $ 9 for a burger and fries? These are steak cut frozen fries with no seasoning, burger was decent but there’s way better out there for the same price. Also they add in there that if you want a greek salad instead of fries it was an additional $ 3.95, on top of the $ 9?No thank you. The price of the breakfast was also high in my opinion and the hashbrowns were cooked too fast where they were burnt on one side and cold in other places and they looked more like mashed potatoes thrown on the griddle than actual hasbrowns. May be back for the cheap $ 4.99 breakfast special but not sure for anything else on the menu.

Weird– posted one earlier, it didn’t save. iPhones! Anyways– I love diner grub. A lot. Salty greasy white bread & processed cheese nonsense is my #1 guilty pleasure. So it was with much delight that I found myself here– the sweetest, friendliest family with flawless manners, way above average coffee, and one delicious California clubhouse. Fries and onion rings were good too. I want to return for subs and a breakfast. Probably not together though. Haha!

This place doesn’t get four stars based on outstanding food, quaint ambiance or stellar service. Sometimes you just need a good cheap and yes greasy meal. Have always just gone for a quick bacon & egg special but today it was later in the afternoon and only wanted a quick stop. Had the special sub and a small fires. After my first bite I will never bother with a Subway sub again.

Dockers is truly a diamond in the rough and absolutely worth your time and energy to haul your arse out of bed on a Hungover Sunday to try their delicious breakfast. Seriously. Do not file this away as another shitty Ricky’s-esque«family» restaurant because that would be a crime against good breakfast. The eggs benny is my go-to breakfast of choice and they do not disappoint. Nice hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, delicious ham and a fresh baked english muffin. Simple, unpretentious, delicious. PS. If you’re like me and enjoy going out for breakfast/lunch/dinner alone, Docker’s is perfect for you. Single-sized tables, privacy, and a quiet atmosphere that is ideal for solo diners. I love it. In fact, I’m here right now, alone, chowing on a burgie.

After enticing me with their«world’s best subs» sign, I went in with great expectations and hope for a good sub. I chose a hot turkey sub and after finishing half of my sandwich, I thought, «This is not the best I had, but it certainly is pretty good. I’d give it a 3/5, methinks. The atmosphere is very diner-esque, but it also looks a bit dirty… so 3⁄5 it is!» As I bit into my other half of the sub, I saw something that was not supposed to be in a sandwich… I found a long strand of hair clumped to the mozzarella. I recently cut my hair too, so I realized this wasn’t my hair, this is the chef’s hair. My appetite was ruined. The owners were nice and apologetic about their mistake, and they wouldn’t let me pay for it. That’s why I can’t give this place a complete 1/5, but it was still really gross that there was hair in my sandwich and I can still taste the tangled texture in my mouth as I write this. Anyway, it was definitely not a good experience for me and I don’t think I’ll be back.

Super classic diner spot. We wandered over here one day mainly because of my three favourite words: All. Day. Breakfast. It’s really difficult for me to understand why all day breakfast isn’t more common, but I guess you have to stick with the folks who do it right. We came for the pancakes and left very satisfied! Our server/cook even made us extra big pancakes because we were sharing a plate. Totally excellent. :)

GREATPANCAKES. The greek pancakes here are damn good, they come in 5 «small» ones with a strudel-type crumb topping and some sausages or bacon — they’re really fluffy and soft, great with syrup and yogurt on top… YUM. I didn’t expect much from this place before, skipped it the last three or so years I’ve been living in the area but really, its worth stopping by The burgers here are great, really tasty and like that other guy said they’re not too fancy or anything, perfectly simple. But OHGOD the pancakes — -guuuuuuh. Its not the prettiest place(kinda shabby, dark) but they’re pretty friendly and the portions are pretty decent(the greek pancakes say«small» —- not that small, kind of the palm of my(not tiny) hand) and the service is pretty quick

Super sub is as good as it gets! Lots of cheese, onions, lettuce & of course, meat. French toast just above average but for value, 4 slices for $ 7.50. Wished it was thick toast, that’s how I like ‘em, but hey, it’s a family diner lol

Friendly service. Greek diner. Shame that there are no milkshakes on menu. I guess milkshakes are not a big thing in Greece. And no malt vinegar for fries. But my friend’s club sandwich was great and I enjoyed my eggs florentine. My wrist is pretty sore though from trying to get pepper out of the clogged shaker! Truly an old school type diner…

Yup, 5 stars! Here’s why: 1– BEST Burger I’ve tasted in Vancouver by far. 2 — Prices are right! 3– The owner comes out, greats you, refills your water, etc… 4– Coffee is good(black with cream plz) 5– Breakfast all day, thank you very much 6– opens at 7am 7– Weekday breakfast special for $ 4.95(2 eggs, bacon, hash and toast) 8– The sign on the window says«Air Conditioning». Makes me feel like I’m in the 60’s and A/C is not common. 9– Accepts cards including visa and most other majors. 10– DID I MENTIONTHEYHAVETHEBESTBURGERS. I’m going to describe these burgers really quick. Don’t come in expecting something fancy… like special buns made from organic angels and a special seasoning made from ground up unicorn horns… No, it’s a burger that is seasoned perfectly, grilled just right and topped with the perfect but basic lightly toasted bun! Thank you Dockers for keeping it simple! You are my In and Out of Vancouver! You read right, my In and Out of Vancouver!

Saturday lunch/brunch with the family. Dockers is close to home for us and somewhere that the menu is diverse enough to offer selection for everyone. Honey had greek pancakes. I took care of my liver craving. Son had the bacon, cheseburger with an added fried egg. Daughter had eggs benny without the ham(she’s vegetarian). Served up quickly, which we appreciated as we were hungry and also had somewhere to get to. Decent local diner.

This candidate for Triple D(Diners, Drive Ins and Dives) has been at 45th& Fraser when Travolta hit the dance floor for the 1st time, though the handle has morphed from Paul’s Submarine to The Great Canadian Café to Dockers. I have come here for one thing and one thing only. The Super Sub. Not microwaved nor conveyor belt toasted but old school cooked on the grill. The Special Sub is layered with ribeye steak, capicola, onions(fried a la PNE), mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and Italian dressing. The BUY recommendation is the Super Sub which is the Special Sub with more ribeye steak — for 50cents more. A real two handed affair for the 6inch version. There is real heft to this, I have weighed it and it comes in at 12−15oz. What? Yeah did I say 2 handed? And that’s for size small, eh. Thin sliced steak paired with copicola. Carnivores delight. Italian dressing? It compliments and counter points the fat of the ribeye and the spice of the copicola and the requisite grease. Perfection. If ya crave a submarine sandwich, the genuine article dont go looking at the pretenders over at S’Way or Q’snos they dont have soul like this. 15Oz! I havent tried anything else here but the Super Sub is worth a regular run. And just down the block on 45th is an old school $ 10 hand car wash. Take your ride get it treated and you get your ‘buds treated at the same time. Shiny ride, happy tummy. How fine can that be?

First off, in case you had any ideas, this place isn’t pretty to look at. But that’s the point, it’s a diner. Period. The staff: is awesome, seems like it’s a family business. They were all very helpful and patient with the group I was with. We had to rearrange the tables twice, and they didn’t mind at all. The food: is quality diner fare. I had a hot turkey sandwich, it came with mashed potatoes, veggies, and some cranberry sauce. All for about $ 9. Breakfast is served all day, as it should be, and judging from what my meal-mates said, it was great as well. The cost: was very reasonable, and brings up another great point about the staff. As we were paying we saw that we had all chipped in a bit too much money each but we were all too lazy to try and sort it out. The owner took our cash, but came back less than 10 seconds later telling us we had given him too much! He brought us change, but just because of that we left him with it all anyways. Incredible! I’ll certainly be back!
