Tacomio means My Taco which refers to our pride and commitment for authentic and fresh Mexican cuisine.
We use many cooking techniques bringing traditional and modern cuisine together.
Our commitment is to provide our customers with authentic Mexican flavour using fresh, natural and sustainable ingredients, sourced locally, seasonally and organically whenever possible.
Historique
Fondé en 2015.
Chef and owner, Fhernando Llanas got a job working in the kitchen at the Vancouver Club, where he toiled up the ladder for 12 years to eventually land the Executive Sous Chef role under Executive Chef Sean Cousins.
He decided to embark on a new project, go back to his roots and open up an authentic and gourmet taco shop and Tacomio was born.
We take pride in what we cook and serve. At tacomio we use many cooking techniques bringing traditional and modern cuisine together for example, using induction heat and sous vide
Were we offer «guisado» style tacos — which is to say the tortillas will be mounted with things that have been slow-cooked, braised, or stewed — plus a variety of in-house toppings and garnishes. There will be different signature salsas to choose from, not to mention some killer non-alcoholic drinks, all crafted in house
