Who would have thought excellent customer service can come so early in the morning? This Cobs delivers it well. I visited Cobs this morning to pick up a few items for a work potluck. I walked in completely clueless as trays of baked goods started to fill their shelves; an aroma and view to die for. The young lady who helped me was so kind to me, regardless how many questions I asked. I opted for a box full of blueberry, raspberry & white chocolate, double chocolate and chocolate banana flavoured scones, as well as raspberry and blueberry danishes. I also bought a small box of 6 mini cinnamon rolls which, if I may add, was extremely tasty. It hit the spot during my after lunch sweet tooth. I did also buy a spinach & feta croissant for breakfast which I really enjoyed. It’s worth mentioning how crispy the croissant was. Totally up to my standards. Giving Cobs a 5 star rating because the flavour was perfect, the service was excellent and the cost was decent.

Heard so many good things about this bakery. Amazing bread etc. so when we were in the neighborhood we stopped by to pick up some bread. Website says open until 7 on Saturday. Got there around 6:25 pm and they were packing up all the bread. The door was open but they said they were closed. Wouldn’t even ring us up for a petty bag of buns! That screams poor customer service to me.

This is the best bread in the neighbourhood by far. Aside from the great selection of breads(Cape Seed is my fav) the scones and other tasty treats make it difficult to leave with just one or even two selections. Go early in the morning for hot fresh scones and still-steaming loaves of bread. Attention to detail, customer service and a clear passion for the art of breadmaking set this place apart. This location also does not use any nuts in their baking. Apologies to the local independent bakeries which are great, but Cobs in Vaughan is da place for me.

Cinnamon Month(November) at Cobs Bread. The inevitable has happened and they have expanded in the middle of nothing where I exist. Cobs Bread took over a unit from Mamma’s Pizza and I’m so glad it did so, but that’s a story for another time… It’s actually quite a surprise to find Cobs Bread here as strategically there are a few competitors within the immediate area that is Maple, ON and that’s not even considering the sister neighbour of Woodbridge. Up here every Italian Bakery or Grocery Store has a bread selection that the locals enjoy. The advantage this Cobs location(#9316) has over the other nearby Bread shops is that it solely specializes in Breads and Pastries while other are more of an all-in-one grocery shop. That means when you step inside, the AROMA of the bread and sweets is distinct that other shops cannot provide. Food is after all a full sensory experience that includes olfactory. Yeah, it looks like a cute Bakery shop as well where I got a Ham & Cheese Croissant that I would say is a bit small in stature for the price valued. I think I would like a Ham & Cheese Bun at a Chinese Bakery instead. The Teatime — Apple & Custard was A-OK although again I find it a bit on the premium pricing. Extra points for having a website that allows people to see the ingredients and nutritional value as I am on a diet. Bonus points for having the friendly owners and staff unlike the previous business that occupied this space. Ham & Cheese Croissant: Apple & Custard:
