Med-Scan X-Ray and Ultrasound

I visited my doctor for an annual check-​up and he recommended that I go for an ultrasound. As he’s in downtown Toronto, he recommended that I could visit a place closer to where I reside.
I called Med-​Scan after doing a Google search. They are located at the corner of Major Mac/​Jane (in the plaza with the Longo’s) and were within a 5 minute drive of where I live.
When I called to make an appointment, the person I spoke to was pretty adamant that I come in the same day. He stated that they had several appointments open that afternoon and recommended 4 pm that day. I agreed. He then stated that since the ultrasound was an abdominal scan, that I had to fast for 6 hours prior to the procedure. As I had already had breakfast, it wasn’t an issue.
I arrived at 3:50pm and wasn’t sure where it was. There’s a clinic right next to the Longo’s with a sign that stated X-​Ray and Ultrasound, but nothing that said Med-​Scan. I went in an approached the receptionist for the clinic. She pointed to a door and said I had to go through the door, turn right at the end of the hall and the clinic was there.
I went back and the robotic receptionist asked for my paperwork and health card. She took the information, handed back my health card and told me to be seated. She then yelled out questions to me, from her seat, as to the name of my doctor (it was on the form), etc.
The waiting room is VERY small, considering the amount of people that arrived while I was waiting. Several people had to stand out in the hallway as there was no seating. I waited approximately 40 minutes when I was finally called into the back for the procedure.
The ultrasound technician (male) was efficient but not overly friendly. I was done in about 10 minutes and out the door shortly thereafter.
