I can’t speak for the service. Last night I got take out. It was my first time trying this place. I ordered a California roll, dynamite roll, rainbow roll and tuna maki. The tuna maki taste was off, but I didn’t think much of it. I finished the meal around 7pm and woke up at 2am with the worst stomach pain. I spent the next day in the bathroom due to food poisoning. Not coming back.

Quick, fresh, cheap, simple, and delicious. What else can you ask from a sushi place! Always a pleasure eating here. Been so many times over the years, the owner knows me(any my order!) personally.

No surprise there. Amazing sushis for a great price. The owner and waitresses work hard and discreetly. I am not sure I would recommend the washrooms though, not the cleanest ones…

I tried the 18 piece vege combo w miso soup for only $ 5.95!(See the All ingredients are super fresh and green onions in the miso soup were divine. How is possible to be in west Vancouver with Chinatown prices?!

Cheap, fast and quite friendly. Don’t expect much from this hole in the wall. always packed at lunch time. Adequate food and serving size. only one server and chef. takes credit/debit. Parking can be an issue on Marine, better if you can walk.

Warm California Roll, warm water, indifferent staff and not very clean. Won’t go back there.

Fast, quality and inexpensive. I usually hit this spot with colleagues at least once a week and am never disappointed.

So! For my first review, I’ll give 3 stars to my local sushi joint. It’s usually quite busy, so I just walk in and sit at the bar. The sushi guy knows me, and immediately gets going on my favourite menu item… spicy sashimi– a delicious blend of tuna and salmon chunks, tossed in a secret, spicy, sauce. I get an order every time, sometimes two if I’m with company. The quality of the fish is hit or miss– depends on the day, and the one and only waitress can be a bit short. Give her a break, she’s only one woman. The sushi man is great. He gives me fish heads for the dogs. The prices are so low, I forget about all the Maseratis, Mercedes, Beamers and Bentleys parked outside…
