Passable food. Large portions but really poor service. There are much better Greek style restaurants to choose from.

I also used to like this place, and since the change I have not been back, lots of other choices, and as I like to look at it you vote with your dollars, and I am not voting here any more.

Now, technically my girlfriend and I did not actually eat here, so we can’t comment on the food. However, if you continue to read, you will see why. My girlfriend and I recently started to go out for breakfast\lunch on the weekends and she wanted to go here because she said it was a good place for food. She told me that they have a good menu here. Unfortunately, the menu changed as Unilocaler Barbara S. has said. First, let me describe the place a bit before I get to the meat of the review. The place was decently sized and looked like it can hold around 30 – 50 people. The décor I personally did not like. The overall feel and look of the place just seemed unpleasant. The words that come to mind is a bit greasy and old fashioned. Now to the main part of my experience. There were few items for breakfast and they were just the bare basics, such as pancakes, eggs, toast etc. What really annoyed me though was that there were only one or two combos with three or four small items. You could of course get a main course and add sides, but they were kind of expensive, at least, considering the places where my girlfriend and I go. Usually we get a combo with four or five items like pancakes, hash browns, bacon, eggs, and sausage for $ 10. Here, pancakes are $ 8 and the sides are about $ 2-$ 3. So for a total of four items, it would have cost us $ 14-$ 17 and that’s not including the drink. Speaking of drinks, no refills to my knowledge. They gave me a CAN of Pepsi, so I am guessing no refills and it costs about a $ 1.50 each. My girlfriend got apple juice, which was not on the menu, so I am guessing it would cost about $ 2 each because juice is usually more expensive. I was going to get something else from the normal menu, but everything seemed a little more expensive then an average restaurant and my girlfriend could not decide. Personally, I was just going to get the Chicken Fingers and Fries Kids Combo because it was only $ 6 and and did not feel like being there anymore. In the end, my girlfriend and I were too annoyed with the menu and walked out. We ended up enjoying the lunch I made. Funny thing is they tried to stop us. I suppose we were supposed to pay for the drinks, but forget that. I am not paying $ 5 for drinks that we barely touched and we did not want to spend another minute in that place. Well, that was my Sunday morning experience. Yes, we did not actually have any food so we can not comment on the taste or quality. However, I feel I should warn those who go there. If your going for breakfast, you can do way better. If you are going for something else, I still would go else where. Goodbye and God bless.

Agreed… what was wrong with the old décor I don’t know… I kind of miss the mural in the booth area. I noticed that the fries weren’t nearly as good as they used to be. This would have been a five-star rating, but since they’re starting to treat the clientele like a bunch of mugs, I’ve had to drop it.

I am totally with you on this! All of a sudden they splurge on new ‘fancy’ menus, and hike up the price by 25%. I wasn’t impressed with the lower quality fries, and the MUCH slower service. George, please bring back the old goods!
