We came here after beer. Isn’t that how most shawarma place reviews started? No? but we did since I was usually craving fries after beer consumption. There must be some sort of gene inside me that gets activated and screams for fries after beer, but there we go. I ordered fries and Mina K ordered falafel, they both turned out pretty satisfying. The fries weren’t as good as the ones I had at Falafel House(let alone Copper & Wheat) but you could see that they’re homemade(they don’t use some frozen fries and serve them to the customers) since they were unevenly cut and freshly fried there. The chili sauce on the table was amazing though, I could eat a bucket of those and we did see that we sort of emptied the chili bowl at ours. The price for the fries is 30kr and it was a big portion, so I guess that’s fair enough. Apart from fries, I could see that they have tons of skewered meat that look amazing and that they grill them right in front of you, so you know it’s the real deal. Not sure about the whole health safety factor since the skewered meat were just sitting there on the counter, but hey, what do I know? I’m from Indonesia where the food is AH-MAH-ZING but it would usually give stomachache to first-time visitors: P All in all, an OK place to get some late night munchies

..Have I really not reviewed this place? I have been here at least 5 times, and… oh wait. I only come here when I am inebriated. That would explain why my memories of the place are a little fuzzy. I know I have eaten kebabs here but I can’t remember how they were. Not very memorable, I guess. This time I just wanted some lentil soup and bread but unfortunately they were out and only had chicken soup. I went with a durum falafel instead and I think that was a good choice. They cooked the bread in their grill and fried the falafels to order, so it took a little time but the result was very nice. Inside the durum there was only some garlic sauce, lettuce, and a few wisps of onion, which allowed the lovely green falafel to shine through. Although almost half of the chili sauce on the table went into our food, I can safely say that it was spicy enough for me. The fries were also good, nothing groundbreaking. I do think it’s a bit cheeky to ask for 5 kr for a dinky little plastic cup of ketchup, but I’m a ketchup addict and I need it with fries. Do all grill bars do that?

In my opinion this is one of the best kebab you can get in Copenhagen. Mostly I have a predilection for this place, as they are willing to make my special order chicken, falafel and tabouleh yum yum. It’s friendly service and it´s fast — sometimes a bit to fast as I have experienced them to get my order wrong and I got a completely different thing compared to what I ordered(over three times happened) but I come here still. Good place to go after a night out :)

For lunch, trying to capture the Norrebroish feeling and show my friends from Sweden how a kebab in Copenhagen should be. Meh.had the Adana kebab in a durum roll. Meat was seasoned really good and did taste very good but in my opinion, thge roll was very small and uneventful. All in all, the food was ok and would have earned a 3-star but the staff was bored/tired/(whatever.) and placed themselves on a «2». What function did the watering cans on each toilet do? Do I want to know evern? #weird

Try their spicy Adana kebabs. They make their kebabs on open grill and the shawarma meat is well made. You can often see sport on the big tv — situated above the small family area.

This is the best shawarma i’ve had in Copenhagen or probably anywhere in Europe! The secret is simply excellent quality unprocessed meat cooked to perfection. Not too dry, juicy, with a unique blend of spices– i detect some cardamom. Genius! Friendly staff too. Recommended improvement: lose the«family section»… this ain’t Baghdad, guys!

So the reviews here are pretty awesome, ya? I was really looking forward to a good falafel experience after a mediocre one at Falafel Kaeldnendksfsdfjhsj(sp!?). I ordered a falafel in pita and it took a bit to get to me, since it was kinda busy. No problem. While I was waiting, I never saw them slice the big poles of meat for the other people’s chicken and lamb thingies. That was strange to me. Everything was picked out of a metal warming dish into the sandwiches and plates. I’m not sure where my falafel came from, but I know that it gave me explosive diarrhea for 24 hours afterwards. I was sweaty and nauseated and running to the bathroom all the damn time. Normally I give 3 stars for places that aren’t so impressive, but not terrible. Scenarios that involve food poisoning, I give 1. Sorry dudes. The falafel in the pita was alright, by the way. Not great. I like the places down in Norreport better…

One of the better kebab houses I’ve tried in CPH, and I would argue the best on Nørrebrogade. The lamb shish is tasty, if a little on the small side. This isn’t «Woody Grill», but it’s a respectable wrap none the less.
