These guys are great. I’m travelling in Europe for a month and I normally get my hair cut every 2 weeks. The concierge at my hotel recommended this place and it was a great recommendation. They have people that speak English and will make sure your barber fully understands how you want your hair cut. Had my hair cut and beard trimmed and it came out perfectly, just like the barber I’ve been going to for years at home. If you need a great haircut or beard trim in Barcelona, this is the place. These guys are the real deal.

For me haircuts are a thing of picky nature. I’m a creature of habit and tend to stick with what I know, especially with my hair. Skeptical as ever I was in desperate need for a haircut while studying abroad in Barcelona. The previous reviewers gave this place excellent ratings so I decided to give it a try. A true barber, Vicenc Moreto has the answers to any mans hair needs. He runs a clean and well maintained establishment with his nephew Toni, right off the outskirts of Placa Universitat. Although I didnt receive a haircut from either of these two gentleman, the other barber Carlos was the next best option. Vincenc was happy enough to translate what I wanted to Carlos as he worked his shears in an almost artistic and meticulous fashion. All of them have an acute taste for detail and leave no hair unscathed on your head. I usually get a 2 fade on the sides and a trim up top back at home, but decided to be a bit more adventurous an add some European style to my hair. Despite the apparent language barrier, Carlos knew exactly what I wanted and gave me truly one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The prices were extremely reasonable and no more than what I would pay back in the states(Avg about 20 $). Overall the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, I truly will not go to any other place while here in Barcelona and will strongly recommend Vincenc to anyone in need of a cut.

As a study abroad student looking to add a little european style into my cut I came to Vicenç Moretó hoping to spice up my look. Speaking only broken spanish, Vicenç and Toni were exactly what I was looking for. After explaining to them how I typically got my hair cut in the states(simple buzz and line-up), they reassured me that they would give my hair some style without making it too exotic. Toni, got to work and immediately I knew I was in good hands. Vicenç and Toni are extremely warm and friendly. We had great conversations about life in Spain, things I needed to see in Barcelona and basketball. After he was done cutting my hair, Toni showed me how to put some product into my hair to complete the look. Simple, clean with a little bit of style, exactly what I wanted. Since my first time there, I’ve gone back multiple occasions, gotten a full-barbershop style shave(an equally incredible experience) and have gotten more advice about growing out my beard and maintaining my look after I leave. I’m sad to leave Barcelona and not be able to pay these guys a visit, so if you are in the area do yourself a favor and check em out. Even if you do not speak spanish, Vicenç and Toni both speak some English and are very accommodating. Can’t say enough about my experiences with them. Thanks Vicenç & Toni!

I’ve been living in Barcelona for 3 months now and was always struggling to find a local barber shop that I could rely on… until I found this place. I found out about it on Unilocal while doing a local search for barbershops and thought I’d give it a try and it turned out to be one of the best haircut experiences I have had in recent memory. I was greeted warmly by Vincent, the shop’s owner, and he immediately sat me down and discussed thoroughly what he had in mind for my style and we made great conversation the entire time I was there. He even served me espresso – I couldn’t ask for much more. Whether you’re looking for a complete transformation or just a simple trim – this is the place to go without a doubt. Thank you Vincent!

unless you plan on wearing a hat you’re entire trip to barcelona, it’s important to have a «go-to» barber shop in town. and if you’re as picky as i am about a proper cut, then i’d say stop by here and check them out. when i travel i want to eat, shop, play, and frequent where locals do, this is one of the spots. from the exterior most shops in BCN look the same, then you step in and see it’s a pretty standard lame shop. i searched particularly for a place that could do a shave, figured any place that could properly shave a man and handle a clipper and checked out the reviews and this place held promise. a few things, traditional styled shop, family owned and operated, they close for lunch hours, charged me 31 euros for a shave and haircut, both barbers spoke minimal english(recommend bringing a picture on your phone of a recent cut), and took me as walk-in but it kinda looked like an appointment would be necessary in most cases. the barber i had, toni, was incredibly patient given the language barrier and my pickiness. the cut was solid(i usually sport a traditional business man with a high taper and close fade) the shave though i’d probably hold off on. the chair did recline and there was a head rest, but the bottom part of the chair for your legs didn’t flip over so i had to sorta crouch in the chair for the shave and he nicked my chin, mheh it happens. but hence the 4⁄5 stars. over all, i wouldn’t waste my time researching additional shops as i’ve seen dozens of «barber shops» and wouldn’t step into a salon due to price. there’s something nice about a family run business and these guys do a solid job.

This place was awesome great service really happy with my cut. They also speak pretty good English which really helped for me. Got served a espresso between my shave and cut. I highly recommend this place if you want a good cut or shave. And was cheap!

I have traveled to five continents, lived in six cities, and had my hair cut in so many – countless – barbershops. Far and away Vicenç Moretó is *the best* barbershop I’ve been to. This barbershop is a family affair. Vicenç and his nephew, Toni inherited the business from Vicenç’s father. Together, the two have decades of experience, and have transformed their small, warm barbershop on Joaquín Costa into one of the hippest, friendliest, and trendiest places to get your hair cut in Europe! Vicenç is a visionary: he talks about hair and styling with such passion and excitement that, on numerous occasions, I’ve wanted simply to say«I’m your canvas! Do your art!» The conversation is fascinating: Toni and Vicenç are outgoing, interested, well-informed people who can talk about anything! Perhaps most importantly, they care about your satisfaction. The combination of quality haircut, impeccable style, and wonderful service at Vicenç Moretó is indeed priceless. That’s why I’m always stunned when it comes time to pay: prices are *very* cheap for the quality you get. This barbershop is, perhaps, Barcelona’s best kept secret!

Great combination of old school and hipster trends in the heart of Barcelona’s Raval.
