Bimba’s

Comida de muy buena calidas a un precio acorde. No recomiendo los raviolis pues no me convencieron, los macarrones arrabiatta buenisimos.
El servicio no puede ser mas amable y atento, lo mejor

I came here for a private event, so even though I tried a lot of their tapas, I only paid for a couple drinks. € 3 glasses of good house wine suited me fine, though they specialize in enormous glasses of top shelf gin and tonics at € 11 a piece.
As a private party host, the place pretty much knocked it out of the park. The bar staff busted serious ass making those specialty G&Ts (each with their own fresh accouterment like chopped rosemary or orange slices) and bringing out a never-​ending supply of food.
The tapas included sushi, mini burgers, iberico boards, cheese boards, and a few different pizza/​flatbreads — there was an excellent variety. They were placed thoughtfully throughout the space so each area got plenty of each kind, and they also roamed around offering tastes and answering questions about what was in each one.
I would def recommend this to someone looking to host an event and would potentially come back to dine myself

Tuve la oportunidad de cenar en Bimba’s un tiempo atrás, pero debido a un compromiso familiar, no pude acudir a la cita de empresa en este restaurante del grupo Cacheiro. Así pues, lo tenía como pendiente, en el punto de mira.
El restaurante nos recibe amablemente con una cuidada marquesina que invita a entrar y que bordea la terraza, bien apañada y recogida. El local se divide en una planta piso amplia y diáfana y una planta inferior con barra y servicio de cocktelería. Vamos… un restaurante de envergadura, que los mediodías acoge a mucho oficinista de traje oscuro en sus sillones, butacas, «chesters» y demás asientos tapizados. ¡Muy curiosa la mezcla!
Una vez te acomodan, se agradece muchísimo el servicio de guardaropía. ¡Eso es empezar bien! Uno se relaja y curiosea su carta, nada escueta por cierto… Entrantes, antipasti, ensaladas, pizzas, viandas, pescado… ¡No está mal! Por ser un «italiano moderno» va bien servido.
Nos decantamos por una elección variopinta: ensalada de atún y rúcula (correcta), el risotto de setas (muy rico), un plato de pasta (lo mejorcito) y el tartar de atún (bien resuelto). Los postres bastante elaborados y bien presentados. En general es una cocina sencilla pero de sabores y de calidad de producto, sin caer en lujos banales. La carta de vinos tiene su qué, con referencias de «tot arreu» y el servicio de sala merecería comentario aparte en Unilocal.Muy profesional, atento en los detalles y con ganas de recomendar sus mejores elaboraciones. ¡Bien!
Un restaurante de los que apetece ir en pareja o con los buenos amigos. Con la familia puede ser un marco perfecto para celebraciones. A nivel de precios no puedo decir que sean abusivos. Por ser un sitio con cierto glamour, los platos mantienen una línea coherente. Tema vinos, postres y pijadas, pues como en todos los sitios, ¡se pagan!

Bimba’s is a lovely restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. Perhaps one of the better «Fine Dining» restaurants I’ve been to in Barcelona. *** note *** my budget doesn’t allow for much upscale dining, so these outings are few and far between… I’m usually going for the casual street food (read: cheap).
We went for a weekend lunch, and opted to sit inside — where they have over-​stuffed couches instead of banquettes for booths. They also have outdoor seating, which looked fabulous, but we stayed indoors. Their décor and furnishings were very stylish… i loved the lamps (see photo).
I don’t remember much about the meal (it was a few weeks ago — I kept the business card, but didn’t write the review until now) — but I do remember I enjoyed my chicken paillard, and the breads in the beginning. It was all well-​prepared, and beautifully presented.
You know how one of my biggest pet peeves is about (lack of) service in Barcelona? This place gets it right… they treat you like kings & queens here — total white-​glove service — as you would expect from a fine dining establishment.
