Great advertising to this mom and son shop. They had a sign about their café by the steps as tourists walk up to park guell which was how I discovered this place. I love how hippy and chic this café is. But the wait is really long, ordering and getting your food can take from 20 — 40 mins. They have a huge selection of soups, salads and quiches. I had the gazpacho which was eh. y friend said it tasted like a virgin bloody mary? Their café bombo was delicious though! It was mixed in with condensed milk.

Barcelona has a sweet little secret tucked away between several tourist hotspots; a funky café called Café Maigot which parades contemporary art, serves delicious espresso with Baileys(or Baileys with espresso, which ever way you’re inclined to devour), has a very eatable menu and of course, in true Spanish style, some rather tasty eye candy behind the counter. The perfect spot for refuelling during the long walks through the incredible city of Barcelona
