Chocolat-Box

It was late at night and the BF wanted some hot chocolate & churros to end our enjoyable day of wandering the streets of Barcelona. Unfortunately most places only sell it for breakfast or were already closed! =(Luckily this shop sells it all day and open fairly late! They have a few cool tables inside that has wine bottles in the tabletop! They sell coffee, gelato, assortment of chocolates, pastries and other desserts.
We took our 2 orders to go and took it to our hotel’s rooftop pool to enjoy the warm dessert while looking at the gorgeous night sky. The hot chocolate is a thick drinking chocolate and not really sweet. The churros were very small but worked well with the chocolate. Would love to get the hot chocolate again!

Pequeñito y acogedor, y un tanto escondido. Lo encontramos por casualidad al salir de cenar y el viento helado nos invito a animarnos a entrar.
Tienen una carta de helados, tes y delicias de chocolate variada y muy apetecible.
Los suizos, hechos con nata fresca (nada de sprays!!!), estan deliciosos, teneis que probarlos.
Especialidades chocolateadas, en un rinconcito acogedor y servidas por una chica muy atenta y simpatica, no se puede pedir mas.
Ah!Otro detalle positivo, no se el resto de la semana pero el sábado cierran a las 23:45h

An average shop for gelato and waffles that caters mainly to tourists. The waffles are pre-​made and heated up instead of being made-​to-​order, and the Nutella used is a generic brand that’s much sweeter that the real deal.
It’s nice enough inside, and the staff are super friendly, although when there’s a request for anything but gelato they’re quickly overloaded and queues form out the door almost immediately.

The gelato is pretty good and surprisingly it’s cheaper if you get the gelato in a cone instead of a cup! I really liked the Ferrero rocher flavor. The pastries are also really good and pretty cheap too.

From their incredible knowledge of chocolate around the world, to the amazing sipping chocolate that they serve everyday. If you like chocolate even a little, this place is a MUST STOP whether you live in Barcelona or are just visiting. Friendly service.
It’s within the Gothic Quarter which also makes it a great stop after grabbing a meal or shopping down there.
Come in with a smile, grab a sipping chocolate and enjoy! The shop also sells handmaid chocolates and wines!

This is a beautiful place. They sell pretty good ice cream but it is also a Café where you can have a good cup of tea or coffee but also a breakfast. There are plenty of really good chocolates and cakes and all is handmade with love. You can even get plenty utilities related to chocolate. The place itself is really cute to stay for a while and relax or have a nice chat.
Although there are a lot of sweets and chocolate items all over the place the sweetest item there is the waitress.
